"To the people". Claiming something to be true or good simply because it's popular or believed by many people. Also known as Bandwagon fallacy.
Examples
- This is the best-selling book of the year, so it must be well-written and worth reading.
- Millions of people believe in astrology, so there must be some truth to it.
- This restaurant is always packed with customers, so the food must be amazing.
