"To the person". Attacking a person instead of addressing their argument.
Examples
- Your suggestions about what I should eat to lose weight can't be true because you are fat.
- You can't trust Dr. Smith's research on climate change because he drives an SUV.
- Senator Johnson's tax policy proposal is garbage, just look at how many times he has been divorced.
